Post Re: My Ride
I have..one night 2 years ago.

Before any fuel mods or anything were done.

All I had was a 3" exhaust, MBC at 14-15 psi and a hard UICP.

Started out with some pretty sketchy times 16.xx, lowest I was able to run before heat soaking the inter-cooler was 15.0xx ran that a couple times and started getting some slower times after that. I guess it's not bad for what I had and FWD. Could be better, could be worse.

I remember racing Surge's car when he still had the lightning bolt type thing down the side of his car. Can't remember who one but I remember seeing the car :P

That was with 87 octane(I know, I know, slap on the wrist! my bad!) and stereo in the back. Car hasn't seen less than 94 since :)

no point running the 94 unless your tuned for it.... it's a waste of money, and your probably losing hp rather then making it.... which i see you might have done..... but just a friendly piece of advice to others

if you feel a increase in pull from going from 91-94 and get more fuel mileage by doing the switch id say your car does well with it and it is worth it. but if you see no noticeable increase then your vehicle isint tuned for it.

My Eprom chip is programmed for 94 octane so that's what I've been running in it since. I drop to 91 or w\e on highway trips but there is a huge difference from 87-94 octane.

I'm still working out some bugs in the car after getting it going so I'm not pushing it too hard none the less
